A traditional Lakeland family home in the Lake District National Park offering non-smoking en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation in a rural location just off the A590 at Witherslack. Just 8 minutes from the M6 J36 it's in an ideal location for touring the English Lake District and South Lakes Furness Peninsulas as well as for stop-overs to and from Scotland.
Our 3 tastefully decorated spacious en-suite bedrooms all have king-size beds are furnished with your comfort in mind and have views overlooking the gardens and the surrounding countryside. With 2 double rooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and one has a private balcony with table and chairs and access to a private part of the garden. The third room is a family room with en-suite shower room, king-size bed and single bed.
Each bedroom has a flat screen colour TV with Freesat, CD/DVD player with a CD/DVD library, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, books and hospitality tray. Individual service and a warm and friendly welcome is guaranteed so start the day with our Lakeland breakfast before visiting the beautiful English Lake District and South Lakes Furness Peninsular.
Our village pub which welcomes dogs is just 50 yards along the road with other pubs and restaurants nearby, parking is available, dogs are welcome as are children over the age of 5, closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Mid-week winter breaks available. Prices from £30.00 per person per night.
Situated in the South Lakes Beech Hill House forms an excellent base from which to tour the outstanding natural beauty of the Lake District and South Lakes Furness Peninsula with Bowness, Windermere, Hawkshead, Coniston, Grange-over-Sands, Cartmel, Ulverston and the market town of Kendal along with many local attractions all within easy travelling distance.
