Sue & Ian welcome you to Stockghyll Cottage, a lovely lakeland stone cottage and garden surrounded by woodland with its own waterfall and stream.

There are lots of seating areas around the garden to enjoy afternoon teas, home made cakes or just relax. Situated just a flat 5 minute walk away from Bowness village and lakeside attractions. Stockghyll Cottage is a perfect location for your visit to the Lake District, offering a very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.

Ideal for couples as the cottage only offers 3 double rooms (one can be a twin for friends/relatives sharing) Average cost per night for 2 people sharing with full breakfast is between £60 and £70 per night in total. Open all year so that you can enjoy the seasons and beauty of the Lake District all year round. Due to the size of the cottage and accommodation we can not take children under 10 years of age or pets in the cottage. Your pets are more than welcome in the garden. We have parking facilities in the drive for all cars and can also store your cycles or motorbikes in our garage.

All our food is freshley prepared to order and we pride ourselves in our home baking and fresh bread baked every day for our breakfast, a good hearty meal to start your day.

We are not licences but please feel free to bring your own wine/beer/refreshments to enjoy in the garden or the comfort of your room.
