Lingmoor Guest House in Windermere is well located just a 2 to 3 minutes walk from the train and coach station. We aim to offer a friendly relaxed stay in clean, comfortable rooms so that you can unwind and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the lakes.

We are priveleged to have something for everyone from walking, sight seeing trips, horse riding, fishing, golfing, crusies on Lake Windermere or just strolling round the shops, bars and restaurants.

Guests have easy access to Windermere's superb choice of excellent bars, restaurants and local shops and a 20 minute walk will bring you to Lake Windermere, where boats can be hired or a lake cruise taken. Relax and enjoy a full hearty English breakfast in our dining room served everyday between 8.00 and 9.30am. Accommodation is available throughout the year at the guest house.

Each of our 5 bedrooms are all tastefully furnished and decorated offering a pleasant and comfortable stay. All rooms are fully equipped with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryers and ironing facilities are available on request. Rooms are available in twin, double and family with en-suite's ensuring we are able to cater for all your requirements. Single travellers are most welcome. We can only cater for children of 5 and over.

The House is Wi-fi enabled throughout. We have a complimentary library of detailed walks, books and dvds for guests to make use of during their stay. We also offer packed lunches for an additional cost.
