The Scottish Artist Studio offers both bed and breakfast and the option of self-catering to guests from all over the world. There are four bedrooms which are very warm and comfortable with television and a desk or table. A very reliable and fast wifi signal is available and proving to be very popular.
The double en-suite is a delight with a wonderful view south over the river Tay. Breakfast is carefully prepared by Anna using fruits from the garden and served in the artist's studio room with original paintings by resident artist John Stoa. Anna and John have a lot of local knowledge and are happy to help their guests plan their holiday.
Dundee has a lot to offer.It is Scotland's sunniest city and enjoys its own microclimate. With Dundee univesity, Abertay university, Kingwsway College, the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, and Ninewells Hospital attracting students from all over the world it is now a young person's city with lots of restuarants, pubs, nightclubs and entertainment. Families have always visited the beaches of Broughty Ferry and Monifieth which are a short distance away with links golf at Carnoustie and Saint Andrews. Walkers can visit the Angus glens and Glamis Castle is only 20 minutes away by car.
The bed and breakfast charge is £25.00 per night in the single room, £60.00 per night in the luxury double en-suite (2 sharing).
For those staying for a week or longer a self-catering charge is applied with rooms from £400 per month (single occupancy).
Whether coming for a short bed and breakfast break or staying for a month or more the Scottish Artist Studio is proving to be a real home from home. Ample off street parking in the drive at the front of the house.
