Set among the rolling Cheviot Hills, Glebe House is a far cry from the pressures of daily life. Our vacation rental property is a beautiful 4 bedroom country house on two floors, set in manicured gardens on the banks of the Kale Water (a small tributary of the famous salmon fishing river Tweed.) The house enjoys magnificent south facing views of the Cheviot Hills while taking advantage of the sun on blue sky days which pours through it's large bay windows.

4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 public rooms, large entrance hall, modern kitchen and utility areas. Large garden and lawns and parking areas. Everywhere is spacious. Centrally heated throughout and open log/coal fires. Suitable for the ambulant disabled. Well behaved dogs are welcome too.

This is ideal holiday accommodation for anyone who loves the peace and tranquillity of lush green Scottish hills and valleys. Located very close to the Dere Street and St Cuthbert’s Way, our holiday home is a hill walker’s paradise: just put your boots on and step out of the door. There are trails for mountain biking; Roman ruins for exploring; rivers for fishing; nature for enjoying and; wide open spaces for getting away from it all; not to mention the historic Border Abbey towns of Kelso and Jedburgh within 10 miles, each with numerous attractions.

Our self catering holiday house accommodates 10 (+2) people in 4 grand bedrooms with 3.5 large bathrooms. From the Drawing room, spacious entrance Hall, separate Dining room to the bedrooms, every room has splendid views of the Cheviot Hills, double glazing and central heating. The house is handsomely furnished with many period pieces, well suited to such a generously appointed house.

Relax and settle into a good book before the log fire in the spacious 30 foot long drawing room. Comfortably furnished with armchairs, sofas, and a window seat, it is warm and well lit. In it you will find a Satellite TV, DVD, VCR, Hi Fi, board games ...
