The room... with oak floor, designer soft furnishings and with shutters at the window, there is a comfy sofa for relaxing after a hectic day out and about. The room has a flat-screen lcd tv/dvd player with free-sat reception, together with an alarm clock radio with ipod dock. Wireless broadband is available.

The bed…. is king-sized and has a pocket-sprung mattress and pillows. The linen is fine count Egyptian cotton.

The bathroom… is luxuriously appointed with roll-top bateau bath and separate thermostatic shower.

Our breakfasts… Every day we offer our home-flaked porridge, home-made bircher muesli and granola, pure orange juice, scrummy natural yoghourt and fruit compote. Our coffees and teas are fair-trade, our bread is home-made as are our jams and marmalades. We also offer an Aga-cooked breakfast using the best local ingredients from award-winning suppliers, free-range eggs and a daily special. Our toast is served hot-buttered unless you tell us otherwise.
