Trevethan, situated in the heart of the fashionable Cornish resort Rock, is a luxury self-catering holiday home, ideal for an extended 3-generation family holiday, for two families sharing or for a smaller party.

It has an open-plan living space, 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people, 3 bathrooms (2 ensuite) and gardens front and rear. The rear garden is private, fully enclosed and secure for children. It has a large Cornish stone patio for alfresco dining and a lawned area bordered by flowers, trees and shrubs. A 'wetsuit wash' facility is also provided.

Bicycles can be safely stored at the side of the house behind a locked gate. The accommodation is on one level and is stylishly furnished with oak floors, granite kitchen and kitchen has plenty of granite workspace, a full-size dishwasher, ceramic hob, double oven electric cooker, fridge-freezer, additional fridge and microwave.

There is a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble-dryer and sink. A digital flatscreen TV and DVD is provided and Wi-FI broadband is included in the price.

There is off-road parking for up to 3 cars. Trevethan is within easy walking distance of local shops, the Rock waterski and sailing club, and the beach at Porthilly. Within a longer walk or 5 minute drive is the wonderful sandy beach Daymer Bay - perfect for young children. A little further on is the larger surfing beach at Polzeath, 2 miles from the house.

Rock has several restaurants and is a short ferry ride or drive from Padstow which has three Rick Stein restaurants among many other places to eat.

Port Isaac, the beautiful old fishing and harbour village, featured in the Doc Martin TV series is close by.

Rock has two golf courses including the one at St Enodoc close to the ancient Church where the poet John Betjeman is buried.
