Retreats for you offers comfortable accommodation within our own home, in the heart of beautiful rural Devon. For writers,artists, walkers, cyclists - and anyone who needs time and space in a relaxing informal environment, and some TLC.

We have two double rooms and one twin, furnished simply and attractively, with white cotton bedlinen, and white cotton towels and bathrobes and slippers. All the rooms have desks and facilities for making hot drinks, and the guest bathroom is stuffed with complimentary pampering goodies. During your stay you are free to wander around the house and make yourself comfy wherever you like, and come and go as you please. (our front door is never locked.)You might like to curl up on the sofa in front of the log fire, or do some work at the large dining room table.

All food is homecooked and where possible, locally sourced, on a B&B, half board or full board basis. We can also provide hearty packed lunches, and cater for special diets.
After a day's work, or walking in the wonderful surrounding countryside, you might like a massage or beauty treatment from our visiting therapist, and writing guests often like to discuss their work with me. As a working writer myself I am happy to advise, or provide feedback.
