Our accommodation comprises two standard double rooms with lovely countryside views, £34.00 pppn, and a superior triple aspect room, ofering superking or twin beds, a lounge area and views over the countryside and river, £42.00 pppn. The rooms are furnished and equipped to a high standard and are serviced daily. WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms.
Breakfast is served in the dining room which looks out over the garden and the hills beyond. We offer an extensive menu and are happy to provide vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free alternatives and to cater for other special diets on request. Our own hens produce delicious free-range eggs and our kitchen garden provides fresh seasonal produce. The preserves are all homemade.
A vast network of riverside and moorland footpaths are on our doorstep for those wishing to explore the area on foot. The South West coast path and Doone Valley are also close by. There is a riding establishment within a couple of miles and we are on a national cycle route.
The pretty towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, linked by an historic cliff railway, are just a few miles away as are the pretty moorland villages of Malmsmead, Oare, Exford and Dulverton. The coastal villages of Porlock, Combe Martin and Woolacombe are a short drive and the National Trust properties of Arlington Court and Dunster Castle, and RHS Rosemoor Gardens, are all popular with visitors.
The Exmoor National Park is home to wild Exmoor ponies and herds of red deer and an abundance of birds and wild flowers.
Whatever the season, Exmoor is a wonderful destination for a short break.
