Take a relaxing break at Exmoor House, in Wheddon Cross (Exmoor's highest village), and escape from everyday life for a while. Rooms are designed for maximum comfort, minimum fussiness: big comfy beds, thoughtful little touches that make a big difference, but no chintz or frilly curtains. The atmosphere is friendly and homely. There’s a cosy guest sitting room, with log fires in winter, where you can relax with some tea and cake – or something stronger from the honesty bar. With no TVs, and very little mobile phone reception, this is the place to get away from it all. Exmoor House is right in the heart of the national park - a great base for exploring, whether on foot, by bike or in your car. Dinner, bed & breakfast packages are a speciality.
