"Seafront Apartments are, as their name suggests, self-catering apartments facing the seafront at Cullercoats with superb views over the beach and the North Sea. The owners, Rosemary and Andrew Webb, were friendly, helpful, accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel most welcome. We arrived as strangers and left as friends! The apartments are fully and comprehensively equipped with every amenity you could possibly need and are spotlessly clean and superbly presented. We were VERY comfortable in our stay there. Cullercoats itself is a fantastic centre for exploring the north-east of England and Tyneside. Even Scotland is within easy reach! There are excellent public transport links to most places you could wish to go to and the Metro system is a service which local inhabitants should be justly proud of. We did not take our car to Cullercoats and we did not miss it, even though we travelled as far afield as Edinburgh, Alnwick and Durham to name but three of our destinations. When you want to stay local, Cullercoats itself has plenty to offer with places of entertainment and lots of good and varied restaurants within walking distance. If you want world-class shopping centres, they are here too! I can honestly say that my wife and I loved every minute of our stay and we will most certainly be going back to Seafront Apartments. We come from the south of England and the contrasts with life "up north" are like a breath of fresh air. We love the north-east and we have found nowhere else we would wish to stay other than Seafront Apartments. Thank you Rosemary and Andrew. You have our ten star personal rating!"
