Set in the beautiful countryside of Mid Wales Derwen House is a beautifully restored Dower House. It is large and spacious and decorated to a high standard acheiving a WTB 4 star rating.
It will comfortably sleep up to eight people. It has a large living area with an open fire and a large kitchen/Diner which is fully equipped for all your needs.Outside is aa extensive garden area with BBQ and Patio Furniture. A childrens play area and a games room is also availble to use.
The village of Guilsfield is a ten minute walk and has two excellent pubs which both do good food.
The market town of Welshpool is 3 miles and has many shops supermarket etc. Also a good leisure centre and pool.
Nearby attractions include Dingle Nurseries and Gardens, Powys Castle, Llanfair Steam Railway, Montgomery Canal.
Lake Vrnwy is only a short drive away and well worth a visit.The coast is about a 50 minute drive.
The property is adjacent to the owners Derwen Garden Centre which has its own licensed restuarant. There will be a 10% discount throughout the Garden Centre for the duration of your stay.
