Craig-y-Nos Castle is ideal for away breaks, with views of courtyard and grounds from your bedroom. This mountainous area, with its interesting rural lanes and off-road tracks, provides magnificent opportunities for rides & walks throughout the Brecon Beacons National Park.

All the comforts of the castle are offered together with a friendly service that will realise your every expectation for an enjoyable visit. In winter relax by a real log fire in the Patti Bar in the evenings. In summer, enjoy the views from the patio. We have light bar snacks and log fires in the Patti Bar. By day try pony trekking, caving, walking, mountain biking. The Castle is dog-friendly and welcomes its guests to bring their four-legged friends at no extra charge.

There are many public rooms: the Breakfast Room with huge Sky TV, huge Billiard, Music Room and conservatory now available for events and functions, the quiet, peaceful Patti Bar with real log fire. Why not come up for a tour of the castle? As an accredited attraction we can offer self guided tours or an arranged tour with our local blue badge guide. Why not visit The National Showcaves centre for Wales, Aberdulais Falls, Big Pit, Cefn-yr-Erw Sanctuary, and Caerphilly Castle all accessible from Craig-y-Nos Castle.

We have 25 newly refurbished, very pleasant en-suite rooms individually furnished with interesting Victorian antique furniture in keeping with the era when the castle was built and lived in as a home by Adelina Patti, a world renowned opera singer of the time.

We also have 11 non en-suite doubles in our nurses block, which can be taken on a room basis or as group accommodation, popular with large families, groups and societies.
